the times they are a'changin'...

I was greatly overjoyed to see this article in the Boston Globe about a nearby college in the greater Boston region. It is stories like this that assures me that there is a healthy discussion among Christians about issues of homosexuality. At the very least we, as Christians, need to listen and form relationships and stop supporting the "fortress-like approach to life."
Bravo Gordon. Let's emulate this attitude in our own lives: a real, honest, conversation that leaves us as vulnerable as the other party involved.

Peace,
David

Racial Segregation in 2007...

In case you thought racial segregation was a thing of the past... read this article. Hard to believe, but it's true. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18034102/?GT1=9246

It's hard to deny that racism is still a thriving reality in the world today. We must always be mindful of its presence, from the "subtleness" of our thoughts of other races to the obvious damage of our words and actions. Those of us who are the "majority" must go above and beyond to build a humanity that is caring and unified, honoring people like Martin Luther King, Jesus Christ, and countless others who dared to think that humans were capable of much more than hate, pain, division, and selfishness.
Peace,
David
